As a high-performance power test equipment, the 90-kW gasoline engine electric dynamometer test bench system uses advanced energy feedback technology to simulate complex and changeable actual working conditions and accurately test and evaluate the performance of gasoline engines. The dynamometer test bench system converts the mechanical energy output by the engine into electrical energy efficiently and feeds it back to the power grid, which not only realizes the recycling of energy, but also can accurately measure the key performance indicators of the engine such as power, torque and speed under different loads, providing reliable data basis for engine research and development, production and quality inspection.

1). GB/T 18297-2024 "Performance test code for road vehicle engines": Applicable to M and N type automobile gasoline and diesel engines (excluding free piston type, other fuel engines can refer to it).

2). GB/T 19055-2024 "Reliability test methods for motor vehicle engines": Applicable to M and N type automotive reciprocating and rotary engines (excluding free piston engines). It clarifies the reliability test and evaluation methods of the whole test bench, stipulates equipment configuration, test procedures (alternating load, etc.), parameter monitoring, and result evaluation, and provides a standardized test process.

  1. Electric dynamometer
As a key device for engine loading and dragging, it consists of an AC motor host, a torque flange and a special mounting bracket. It uses a self-developed high-end dynamometer and is equipped with a self-developed torque flange to accurately control the engine loading and dragging, and complete torque measurement at the same time.
  1. Variable frequency inverter system
Frequency conversion control system is used to control the operation of the electric dynamometer. It can load the engine in the forward direction and drag the engine in the reverse direction, and can directly feed back the electric energy generated by the dynamometer loading to the power grid through the system to achieve energy recovery and utilization.
  1. XLE-1000 Measurement and Control System and Control Software
The XLE-1000 measurement and control system is used to control the whole test bench. The test bench working conditions are set and controlled by communicating with the variable frequency inverter system through the bus. The various parameters collected by the receiving system are integrated and controlled by external auxiliary equipment, and the test process can be fully automatically executed. The system has strong compatibility, openness and flexibility, and can adapt to the communication and control of the engine controller, and can also be compatible with the integration of users' own equipment.
  1. Data Acquisition System
Equipped with temperature, pressure and other sensors and acquisition modules, it collects temperature, pressure and other parameters of various parts of the engine, uploads them to the measurement and control system through the data interface, realizes data display, recording and processing, and provides data support for test analysis.
  1. Key supporting equipment
1) Throttle actuator
The motor-type throttle actuator can flexibly adjust the throttle opening. It has the characteristics of large torque, fast response speed and good dynamic performance. It is suitable for various dynamic tests of the engine and can accurately control the throttle state.
2) Fuel consumption meter
The transient fuel consumption meter can accurately measure the fuel consumption of diesel, gasoline and other engines. At the same time, it is equipped with a fuel boost and pressure regulating device to ensure the stable pressure supply of engine fuel to meet the test requirements.
3) Coolant temperature control device
It is used to control the engine coolant temperature, with PLC as the control unit and proportional control valve as the execution unit. The plate heat exchanger and pipeline are made of stainless steel. It has high control accuracy and fast response speed, which can ensure the stable operation of the engine.
