2). GB/T 19055-2024 "Reliability test methods for motor vehicle engines": Applicable to M and N type automotive reciprocating and rotary engines (excluding free piston engines). It clarifies the reliability test and evaluation methods of the whole test bench, stipulates equipment configuration, test procedures (alternating load, etc.), parameter monitoring, and result evaluation, and provides a standardized test process.

1). Electric dynamometer
As the core device for engine loading and dragging, the electric dynamometer consists of an AC motor host, a torque flange and a customized mounting bracket. It uses a self-developed high-end model, integrated with a self-developed torque measurement flange, to accurately control the loading and dragging of the engine, providing stable power adaptation for testing .
2). Variable frequency inverter system
Frequency conversion control system is selected to assume the control function of the electric dynamometer. It supports bidirectional operation mode, which can not only load the engine in the forward direction but also drag the engine in the reverse direction; at the same time, the electric energy generated by the dynamometer loading is directly sent back to the power grid through the system to realize energy recycling .
3). XLE-1000 measurement and control system and control software
The self-developed XLE-1000 measurement and control system is used to control the entire process of the test bench. The bus communicates with the variable frequency inverter system to complete the setting and dynamic control of the test bench working conditions; various acquisition parameters are received in real time, and external auxiliary equipment is integrated and uniformly controlled. The test process supports fully automatic execution. The system has strong compatibility, openness and flexibility, can adapt to the communication protocol of the engine controller, and is compatible with and integrated with user-owned equipment to meet diverse testing needs .
4). Data Acquisition System
Equipped with temperature, pressure and other sensors and acquisition modules, the temperature, pressure and other parameters of each engine component are collected in real time, and uploaded to the measurement and control system through the data interface to achieve data visualization, storage, recording and analysis, providing accurate data support for test evaluation .
5). Key supporting equipment
(i) Throttle actuator
The motor-driven throttle actuator supports precise adjustment of multiple openings. It has the characteristics of large torque output, fast response speed, and excellent dynamic performance. It is suitable for various dynamic test scenarios of the engine and can stably control the throttle state .
(ii) Fuel consumption meter
The transient fuel consumption meter can measure the fuel consumption data of diesel and gasoline engines with high accuracy. The fuel boost and pressure regulating device is configured synchronously to ensure the stable pressure of the engine fuel supply and meet the fuel demand of the test conditions .
(III) Coolant temperature control device
It is used to control the engine coolant temperature, with PLC as the core control unit, and a proportional control valve as the actuator. The plate heat exchanger and pipelines are made of stainless steel. It has the advantages of high control accuracy and fast response speed, creating a stable operating environment for the engine .
