The host of the electric dynamometer adopts a dedicated AC permanent magnet synchronous servo motor, and the electric dynamometer is equipped with a torque measurement device and a speed measurement device for torque and speed measurement.
The electric dynamometer includes an air cooling device (fan), a rotary encoder and a shaft temperature monitoring system. The motor bearings are imported; the speed signal is sent to the variable frequency drive cabinet through the bus, and the torque signal is sent to the control system using the original shielded cable to form a closed-loop control. At the same time, the speed and torque values are stored, displayed, and adjusted and controlled in the computer unit.

3) Excellent heat dissipation ability and perfect temperature protection. High-grade heat-conducting potting compound is used in the servo motor to provide high insulation characteristics, which greatly enhance the heat dissipation capacity of the motor.
 
4) Three kinds of winding temperature sensors which are selectable by users ensure that the motor can be perfectly protected at any time; The protection level is up to IP66. Adopting shaft seal, make the protection level of servo motor reach IP66 -Completely dust proof and protecting against strong water spraying;
 
5) Highly reliable connectors and prefabricated cables. The cable connector imported from Germany is durable and rotatable. Prefabricated cables have excellent performance, conventional and highly flexible cables are available;
 
6) High precision feedback encoder. Seelong servo single motor can be equipped with a variety of encoder types, including single/multi-turn absolute value, resolver and incremental type, the highest accuracy can reach 12bit for multi-turn and 25bit for single turn;
 
7) Single connector design (optional configuration) combines the power cable and feedback cable of servo motor into one.
 

Electric dynamometer has the following significant advantages:

  • Energy saving

The basic principle of Hydraulic and eddy current dynamometer is to convert the mechanical energy generated by the prime mover into heat energy and take away the heat after cooling by water. The energy emitted by the prime mover cannot be recovered, and energy is also consumed during the conversion process.
